*YOUTH DYING IN YORK*
SADLY ,, YORK IS GETTING CRAZIER AND CRAZIER EACH DAY . FROM GUNS , TO DEATHS , AND BACK AGAIN I CANT STRESS ENOUGH HOW MANY YOUNG PEOPLE ARE DYING BECAUSE OF THIS FOOLISHNESS. ITS LIKE THESE KIDS ARE TRYING TO FIGHT OVER WHAT PART OF TOWN THEY LIVE IN WHEN YORK IS O SO LITTLE. IT TAKES ABOUT 5 MINUTES WALKING DISTANCE TO WALK FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER. SAD TO SAY CLIQUES ARE MAD FROM WHAT SIDE YOU LIVE ON. MOST OF THESE CHILDREN DYING ARE BECAUSE THEY ARE TRYING TO HOLD A REPUTATION FOR THEIR "SIDE". HONESTLY , IT IS SAD BECAUSE HALF OF THESE KIDS ARE RELATED TO EACH OTHER SOME WHERE DOWN THE LINE. YORK IS TO LITTLE FOR THIS. SOME DAYS I QUESTION "WHO'S IT GOING TO BE NEXT" ? LESS THAN ONE WEEK AGO A SIXTEEN YEAR OLD BOY WAS KILLED. HE DIDN'T EVEN GET TO LIVE HIS LIFE. NOW HE IS GONE , AND ANOTHER ONE IN JAIL ALL OVER PETTY THINGS. SOMETIMES I WISH WE COULD TURN BACK THE HANDS OF TIME AND THINK ABOUT ARE ACTIONS BEFORE WE MAKE THEM. TWO YEARS AGO, MY BROTHER WAS SHOT AND KILLED. HE WAS ONLY SIXTEEN YEARS OLD AND THE SHOOTER CLAIMS HE WASN'T THE INTENDED TARGET. THAT GOES TO SHOW THAT BULLETS DON'T HAVE A NAME. INNOCENT YOUNG TEENS ARE DYING BECAUSE OF THIS. JUST LAST YEAR I CAN RE CALL AT LEAST THREE FRIENDS BEING SHOT AND HEARING OF TWO OR THREE TEENS BEING KILLED ! ITS STARTING TO CRAZY OUT HERE AND IT NEEDS TO STOP IMMEDIATELY. ARE YOUTH ARE OUR FUTURE! WE NEED THEM! PLEASE HELP STOP THE VIOLENCE!

I'm very interested in this topic and I wonder, do you have any ideas how to stop the violence? If you were the mayor of York city or on the city council, what would you do?
ReplyDeleteYes,you are right people are getting killed over dumb stuff but its not always over what side of town the live on. Its much deeper then that. Some of these kids don't have anybody they come from a broken home and dont know anything other then the streets. Yes,the killings need to stop but we also need to look out side the city crimes do happen there too. People are so quick to judge the city kids based on what they read in the papers and what they see on the news but how about people stop passing judgment and help these young people change thier ways. Be the person they can say helped them turn their lives aroung.
ReplyDeleteI wouldnt say there dying because of what side of town, i think its a pride issue even though its stupid either way you put it.I dont agree they use of side thing as a reason to beef but its about who can be the king truthfully your right york is to small but overall this world we live in is small. To many bigger problems are going on in our society, that we need to come together as a nation. But people in York only do what was given to them..the streets so they are not the blame the parents are. We as adults must education our youth/children and show they that ife goes beyond the streets of York, and offer them a chance.
ReplyDeletesome where down the line people dont respect each other and people get pissy and kill each other. it all starts with the parents; they need to show them more about personal values. if everyone treated each other the way they wanted to be treated we would not have a problem. pay money back that they borrowed, talk to each other with respect and so on. in order to stop the violence you need to prevent it from the basics when were children. we learn and know by how we were treated.
